As a keen patron of pubs, I want to see them thriving, but they’ll only do that if they cater for a wide range if customers.
Many beer drinkers have times when they wish to keep within moderate limits or cut our alcohol altogether for any number of reasons.
Most pubs stock a basic alcohol-free option, but there are some really great low or no alcohol options out there.
The map below plots the pubs I’ve come across which sell alcohol-free beers. This is obviously a constantly changing picture as pubs change their offer or simply run out of something, so treat it as a guide. Polite suggestions of additions or corrections are very welcome!
I’ve focussed on the lesser-spotted brands, and in particular beers from craft breweries or interesting beer styles.
BLUE = bottles or cans
RED = draught
Some large pub groups worth looking at in terms of low alcohol options include:
All Bar One – Big Drop Pale Ale & Stout, St Peter’s Without, Peroni Libera
Bar Works – Big Drop
BrewDog – BrewDog Nanny State, Punk AF, Hazy AF, frankly I can’t keep up – large and growing range!
Castle Pubs – Big Drop Pale Ale, Big Drop Stout
Draft House – Big Drop, BrewDog Nanny State, often now Punk AF on draught
Nicholson’s – St Peter’s Without
Wetherspoon’s – Adnams Ghost Ship
